I’m a 46 year old female, from England. I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder in 1996, with other mental health conditions along the way (CPTSD, Social Anxiety) I also have Aspergers / ASD.

It was in my early teens that I became in the attention of social services and mental health services, due to my behaviour and problems. Throughout my life different professionals have given me different diagnoses including Schizo-Affective, Dissociative-ID and Depression, alongside BPD. Borderline-PD is one of those things were other conditions are associated with it too.

I don’t know what the case is now all these years later because professionals are mainly concentrating on my Borderline-PD and Complex-PTSD.

I’m a service user and volunteer at Mersey Care NHS FT.

I started this blog in December 2015, regardless of the blog, I’ve always been one for writing down my thoughts and feelings, even since an early age, I’ve always written my thoughts… So, I thought I’d start this blog and just write my thoughts, my feelings, how my mental health problems affect my daily life and so on.

I describe myself in an honest and somewhat distasteful way, right to the point. I often ask myself, who am I, how did my personality form into the way it’s always been. I confuse myself sometimes. I say one thing, and then I say the opposite… What am I all about and why does my mind / personality work this way, do I know the difference between what’s “normal” and what’s abnormal…
